Appreciating Yourself

"You wake up every morning, and before you even have a chance to gather your thoughts, you are needed. Someone is calling you, someone is waiting for you, and someone depends on you. You push aside your exhaustion, your own needs, because that is what you do—you give. You pour your heart into your family, into your home, into the little hands that reach for you and the big ones that don’t always say thank you.
But today, I want you to stop for a moment and breathe. I want you to recognize the incredible person you are. You are not just a caretaker, not just someone who gets things done. You are the heart of your home, the soul of your family, the one who holds everything together with love, with patience, with strength that even you don’t always realize you have.
Do you know how much you matter? Do you know how much Hashem treasures every effort, every sleepless night, every quiet moment when you put aside your own needs to make sure someone else is okay? When no one else sees, He sees. When you feel like no one understands, He understands. And when you wonder if what you do is enough, He is whispering back to you, ""You are more than enough.""
You don’t need to wait for someone to tell you that you are appreciated. Appreciate yourself. Look at yourself with kindness, with the same love you so freely give to others. You are doing something holy. You are shaping lives, not just through grand gestures, but through the tiny, unseen acts of devotion that no one else notices.
So take a moment. Breathe. Close your eyes and let yourself feel the weight of all that you do—not as a burden, but as a badge of honor. You are strong. You are beautiful. You are needed. And most of all, you are cherished by the One who gave you this mission.
Thank you for everything you do. Thank you for your love, for your sacrifices, for the endless ways you give of yourself. Hashem sees you. He values you. And He is so, so proud of you."
